Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury Lions Club (CIO)

Whitstable and Herne Bay Lions Club was chartered in 1971. We are proud to announce that we have now merged with Canterbury Lions which will give us greater scope to serve the three areas. 

 

We are a family of volunteers raising money for individuals, families and organisations in need. Each year we raise funds  by a wide variety of events including May Day at Whitstable Castle, Quizzes, Car Parking, Easter and Christmas baskets, and collections at supermarkets. This money is used to support individuals, families and local organisations who are in need. Demand always exceeds the funds we raise so we are always looking for donations to help us meet more of the requests we get

 

We are always looking for new members and welcome men and women from all areas of the community regardless of race or religion.
