Tonbridge Lions Classic Car Tour 2024

On Sunday 28th July Tonbridge Lions Club held their ever-popular annual Classic Car Tour to raise money for local charities and good causes. This year the Club are supporting BABONS, a Cancer Support Charity based in Tonbridge. The Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Councillor Steve Hammond started all 46 cars from Tonbridge School. Hastings Lions donation to The Henry Ward Hall

Hastings Lions proudly supported the Henry Ward Hall at His Place, Robertsons Street, with a cheque for £4765.65 towards the purchase of a beautiful Grand piano to enable the continued provision of events and participation in community based musical productions. Read more

Uckfield Lions stage a trip the the Lavender Fields

The Lavender fields at Shoreham in Kent was the destination for the Ladies from Uckfield Trefoil, using the Uckfield Lions mini bus and a Lions driver, 14 ladies of the Trefoil guild were booked on the trip. Read more

Woking Lions’ Martian Race Achieves A Record Turnout And Raises £13,500 For Charities

The very successful 7th annual Martian Race took place on Sunday 16 June at McLaren Park, Horsell Common, Woking.  The popular event saw its largest turnout ever, selling out two weeks before race day with over 800 participants ranging in age from 4 to 78. Read more

Guildford Lions spectacle recycling

Our ongoing project to recycle unwanted spectacles and hearing aids from the Guildford and Godalming areas continues. For some years we have had collecting bins at numerous locations in opticians, charity shops, and doctors surgeries which are usually emptied about once a month. We have even had a package of unwanted spectacles from the Falklands Islands sent to us. Read more

Bexhill Fun Dog Show

Our Fun Dog Show at the recent Bexhill Horse Show was a huge success.  The Show organisers had invited the club to organise the event and the club decided that all proceeds would support Brain Cancer Research, who had a stand alongside the show ring. Read more
