The terrace of the iconic De La Warr Pavilion was the venue for the largest gathering of Teddy Bears in Bexhill. Over 200 came with their young owners to enjoy our first Teddy Bear Adventures.

The children brought their bravest bear or cuddly toy, max height 36cm to the Passport Office. They were given a Teddical Medical, an x-ray and height check before being issued with their own passport to show they were fit to take part in all the activities. The passport was stamped at each activity. The awesome activities, included: Teddy Aeroplane, Teddy Train, "Bluebird" Teddy Speedboat, Pirate Ship and Lucky Dip Ball Pit. Craft Activities, a Teddy Tombola, Face Painting, and storytelling were also on offer.

The highlights were the Teddy Parachute Jump (after being hauled up the DLWP in a hot air balloon) and the sight of their teddy bear descending from the DLWP on the Teddy Zip Wire.

There were Lots of photo opportunities to be had; spaceship with cutout windows, a teddy bears tea party, a bubble machine and an eco-friendly igloo made from re-cycled milk cartons and a snow machine.
