Bexhill Carnival Lions

The Club continues to support the Bexhill Carnival and this year members kicked off the celebrations by attending the ever popular Friday night "Party in the Park".

The theme for the carnival parade was "Around the World". Ground crew Brian and Rick headed the parade in their support vehicle with appropriate music playing. The Club chose a holiday theme and had two 4m banners depicted the fuselage of the "LIONAIR" plane. Captain Leo was pulled by First Office Alan and Air hostesses kept the passengers in order as members got into the swing of things dressing as; a Hen Party, Golfing holiday, Family beach holiday and holiday revellers. Airline security staff ensured safe passage of the plane and holidaymakers along the route.

Events like this bring people together, help foster a sense of belonging and the pleasure of bringing a bit of fun into people's lives. We love taking part and want to thank the Carnival committee for all their hard work over many months to bring Carnival Week to Bexhill." ​
