East Grinstead and COGs visit RDA Recently, members from East Grinstead, Caterham, Oxted and Godstone (COG’s) Lions Clubs were delighted to attend the presentation day at RDA, Riding for the Disabled school in Newchapel, along with Town Mayor Steve Ody. The two Clubs had jointly funded lessons for the children pictured for the last school academic year. East Grinstead Lions Club have supported the work of Riding for the Disabled (RDA) based at Little Brook Equestrian, Newchapel for over 20 years; either as volunteers or with periodic financial assistance. The charity provides riding sessions for children from local primary schools with learning or physical difficulties and is entirely self-funded. The benefits of these sessions are immense and include: helping to improve muscle tone, posture and motor skills. It also helps to develop self-confidence, improve communication, build relationships and learn new skills. Manage Cookie Preferences
