Guildford Lions spectacle recycling

Our ongoing project to recycle unwanted spectacles and hearing aids from the Guildford and Godalming areas continues. For some years we have had collecting bins at numerous locations in opticians, charity shops, and doctors surgeries which are usually emptied about once a month. We have even had a package of unwanted spectacles from the Falklands Islands sent to us. 

Recently Lions Vic Quayle and Colin Longley undertook their regular trip to the Chichester Lions Club sorting centre with 25 boxes full of used spectacles – and they keep on coming!
