Hastings Lions held their 55th Charter luncheon at The Brickwall Hotel in Sedlescombe in East Sussex.

The club was joined by Region Chairman Paul Webb, Zone Chairman Roger Bluff, Lions Presidents representing Bexhill, Hailsham, Uckfield, SEBI and members from The Lions Club of Le Tourquet Paris Plage in France.

Following the luncheon the Presidential handover took place, where outgoing President Dave Luck was giving a round of applause in tribute to his outstanding commitment, dedication and loyalty to the office of President and handed the chain of office to the incoming president Hayley Luck.

During the outgoing presidential report Mr Luck announced that during his municipal year the Hastings Lions had donated £42,472.00 to worthy causes aimed at supporting some of the most vulnerable within our community.
