Horsham Lions Club and their supporters have worked extremely hard throughout December 2024 to ensure those in most need in our Horsham Community have an enjoyable Christmas. This project took up 143 hours of Horsham Lions time during December 2024​

​With the help of , Saxon Weald Horsham Lions have identified identified 98 adults and children who are in desperate who are in need of help this Christmas. It is hoped that this will brighten up their Christmas.​

The Total Cost of the food and presents voucher for the was £3020 which will have been paid for by our Christmas & Santa Collections held between 2/ 24 December at various locations around Horsham.​

The Collections started on a chilly evening on Sunday evening, 1st December with two Father Christmas and his Horsham Lions Helpers in The Cedar Drive Area of Southwater and collections continued on as follows: Newbridge Nurseries at Broadbridge Heath on 5th and 9th December . This was followed on 8th December, a Santa Collection in the Lemmington Way Area of North Horsham, starting at Bartholomew Way . This was then followed by collections at Waitrose on 11,18th and19 December.Finally we collected at Tesco Super Store on 23 & 24 December 2024.​

The Total raised through these collections is £4242.32. The balance of the money raised, namely, £1222.32, during this Christmas period, will be used for other worthy causes in the Horsham Community during 2025 Throughout this period Horsham Lions Members and their volunteers spoke to numerous local Horsham people, who gave generous donations, and at the same time learnt more about the work Horsham Lions do in the Community and Globally. The money that Horsham Lions raise throughout the year 80% is spent on local projects and the remainder is spent on national and global Lions Projects.​
